American Pistachio Growers invites you to ramp up your participation at this year’s conference and showcase your products, expertise and support of industry’s largest annual event for American pistachio growers.
American Pistachio Industry Annual Conference will again be held at JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, California. With the conference meeting space adjacent to the exhibit hall, there are plenty of opportunities will for attendees to connect with pistachio industry enthusiasts and visit booths.
Exhibit space will be sold until Monday, January 29, 2018 or until sold out. Once exhibit floor space has been filled, additional applications will be placed on a waiting list.

Booth selection will begin the week of December 4, 2017 with priority based on level of sponsorship support and membership status/history and then on a first-come, first-serve basis. The contact listed during checkout will receive an email with instructions to select a booth through an online interactive, real-time map.
All cancellation requests received on or before Friday, January 26, 2018 may be subject to a 10% cancellation/administration fee. Cancellations must be made in writing to American Pistachio Growers. Cancellation requests received after January 26, 2018 will be accepted as withdrawal from the Exhibition but will receive a refund (minus 10% processing) only if space is resold.
1) Booth Selection:
Booth selection will begin the week of December 4, 2017 with priority based on level of sponsorship support and membership status/history and then on a first-come, first-serve basis. We reserve the right to make any changes to the exhibit floor plan for any reason and at any time without advanced notice.
Exhibitor booth applications must be accompanied with full payment. Applications received which do not include full payment will be returned. We reserve the right to refuse exhibit applications which have not been paid in full.
3) Booth Cancellations
All cancellation requests received on or before January 26, 2018 may be subject to a 10% cancellation and administration fee. Cancellations must be made in writing to APG. Cancellation requests received after January 26, 2018 will be accepted as a withdrawal from the Exhibition but will NOT receive a refund (minus 10%) unless space is resold.
4) Booth Installation/Dismantling
Construction of Exhibitor Booths is the sole responsibility and expense of the exhibiting company in compliance with local rules and regulations in force within the host city. Only registered exhibit booth personnel will be permitted in the exhibit area during setup and dismantling hours, as well as non-exhibit hours. Please refer to exhibitor kit for setup and dismantling hours. Exhibitors will not be allowed to install or dismantle their booths during any other time, and booths must stand during the entire show.
5) Booth Personnel
Exhibit booths must be staffed during the stated exhibit hall hours by qualified employees of the Exhibitor. Registered representatives of the exhibiting company must wear badges at all times within the exhibit area. If there are changes in exhibitor personnel or corrections necessary, badges may be exchanged at the APG registration counter.
6) Display Rules and Regulations
For all booth types, an exhibit booth is considered to be contained in the space as contracted, to the maximum heights stated. No ceiling projection will be allowed. No display material exposing an unfinished surface to nearby booths will be permitted. Displays must be contained within the assigned booth spaces that do not interfere with other Exhibitors’ displays. Canvassing or distributing advertising materials outside the Exhibitor’s rented space is not permitted.
Exhibitors will not be permitted to store boxes or packing crates that are visible to exhibition attendees. Boxes and crates that are visible must be placed in storage and must be properly labeled for storage. Boxes/Crates not properly labeled will be removed and destroyed for refuse. Storage is the responsibility of the Exhibitor and is available by contract with the show provider.
The volume of all audio devices must be at a conversational level and should not be objectionable to neighboring exhibitors. All televisions, projection equipment and screens must be kept within booth perimeter.
Demonstration of equipment generating loud noise should be kept to a minimum. Should there be any complaint about the level of noise generated, exhibitors will be asked to discontinue demonstrations. Please be considerate of your neighbors, especially during peak hours.
10) Promotional Materials
Promotional materials (magazines, brochures, samples) may not be placed or distributed outside of your assigned booth. Tables placed throughout the exhibit hall are for attendee use and may not be used to display promotional materials.
11) Collateral/Giveaways/Prize Drawings
Samples, catalogues, pamphlets, souvenirs, etc. may be distributed by Exhibitors and booth personnel within their booth. Exhibitors interested in conducting prize drawings, awards for signing of names, addresses, etc. are responsible for complying with all applicable laws. Announcements of prize drawings on the exhibit floor should be arranged with APG in advance.
The Exhibitor assumes all responsibility for compliance with, and agrees to comply with all applicable local, provincial and federal laws, including fire safety and health laws, and all applicable rules and regulations for all union and labor organizations and of the operators and/ or owners of the property in which the Conference is held. Cloth decorations must be flameproof and wiring must comply with the fire department and insurance underwriters’ rules.
13) Limitation of Liability
APG its partners, volunteers or staff are not responsible for any loss, theft or damage to the property of the Exhibitor, his/her or its employees or representatives. Further, APG, its partners, volunteers or staff, will not be liable for damage or injury to persons or property from any cause whatsoever by reason of the use or occupancy of the booth space or the participation in the Conference by the Exhibitor. The Exhibitor assumes entire responsibility for and hereby agrees to protect, indemnify, defend and save APG and its employees, volunteers, and agents harmless against all claims, losses and damages to persons or property, fines and attorney’s fees arising out of, or caused by the Exhibitor or Exhibitor’s installation, removal, maintenance, occupancy or use of the exhibition premises or a part thereof.
14) Exhibitor Liability
Every exhibitor hereby accepts liability for all acts or omissions of employees, contractors and agents. To keep them indemnified against all liability in respect thereof and against all actions, suits, proceedings, claims, demands, costs and expenses whatsoever, which may be taken or made against the Convention or incurred or become payable by them arising out of the supply by the exhibitor of samples of any kind whatsoever and including any legal costs and expenses and any compensation costs and disbursements paid by the Convention on the advice of counsel to compromise or settle any such claims. Notwithstanding the indemnity hereby given, the exhibitor undertakes to arrange appropriate third party liability insurance.
15) Exhibitor Loss
The Convention will not be in any way liable or responsible for the loss or disappearance, by theft or otherwise, of any object items, goods or materials whether personal or commercial property. From the Exhibitors booth space or from the exhibit hall. The Convention will provide general security services as a convenience to Exhibitors, however, neither the providing of such services, nor the failure of security guards to prevent the theft or loss of property, shall be grounds for holding either APG or JW Marriott Resort liable for any related loss, damage, or claim. Responsibility for the security of an Exhibitor’s area, product and property rests solely with the Exhibitor.
Violation of the exhibit rules and regulations will result in forfeiture of the opportunity to exhibit at future shows. Major violations such as early dismantling of exhibit booth and misuse of name badges to assist admission of unauthorized persons to the exhibit floor may result in permanent expulsion from the show. Companies violating these rules will be contacted during the show, if possible, and will be notified in writing immediately following the Conference.
By signing the space application form and incorporating these terms by reference, the Exhibitor agrees to abide by these rules and regulations, and those of APG, the exhibitor services company and host venue.
