Join us, Wednesday, June 12th for our inaugural fundraising event, Pins for PAC. This family fun event is an opportunity for APG members to get together for a friendly bowling competition while supporting the APG California PAC.

Each registration includes 2 1/2 hours of bowling, a commemorative t-shirt, unlimited beer/wine/soda and entry into the awards ceremony following the competition where food will be served. FAQ's

What is included with each bowling entry?

Each registration includes 2 1/2 hours of bowling, a commemorative t-shirt, unlimited beer/wine/soda and entry into the awards ceremony following the competition where food will be served.

Can I pick my own team?

Yes, you can choose from one of top four sponsorship packages which includes a team registration. Alternatively, you may register a team of four. 

If I'm registering as an individual, will you place me on a team?

Yes, if you are registering as an individual, you will be placed on a team of others who have also registered as individuals. If you know of others who are registering as individuals and you would like to be on their team, please leave that in the note section during check out.

Will children be on a separate team?

Unless otherwise requested, there will be a separate team for our “Baby Lebowski” bowlers. 

If I don't want to bowl, can I still participate?

Yes, you can register as a Sports Fan. This includes spectator entry, entry into the awards ceremony and two drink tickets.

Are associate members able to participate?

Yes, this fundraiser is open to all APG members and industry supporters.

I'm not available on that day, can I still sponsor and obtain the same exposure for my company?

Yes! Please select your level of interest and leave a note during check out that you or your team will not be available to play that day. If your schedule changes and you would like to come, please let us know. Thank you for your support!

Do I have to be a member to play?

No, you do not have to be a member of APG to participate.

Do I need to print anything to show onsite?

No, you do not need to print your registration.

What is the APG California PAC?

American Pistachio Growers (APG) maintains the APG California Political Action Committee (“State PAC”), which is a bipartisan political action committee used to support candidates for election office that are supportive of policies beneficial to agriculture, the pistachio industry, and the economy. The PAC makes direct contributions to candidates for elected office in California state government to elect leaders that understand the importance of a vibrant and prosperous agriculture sector in California.

How can I participate and contribute to the APG California PAC?

Aside from participating in this fundraiser, growers are able to contribute to the PAC by merely authorizing APG to move a small portion of their assessment dollars into the PAC. This has already been paid to APG through the grower assessment. This is NOT an additional contribution. The goal of the California PAC is to have 100% California grower participation!

Under California’s campaign finance law, Proposition 34, individuals and companies are allowed to contribute up to $7,300 annually to a political action committee. Separately, per election, an individual or company may contribute $4,400 directly to a candidate. APG California PAC contributions are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
